The University of Indianapolis (UIndy) is a private United Methodist-affiliated university located in Indianapolis, Indiana. It offers associate, bachelor, master and doctorate degrees. Founded in 1902 as Indiana Central University, it was renamed Indiana Central College between 1921 and 1975. In 1986 it was renamed the University of Indianapolis.

The main campus is located on the south side of Indianapolis at 1400 East Hanna Avenue, just east of Shelby Street. The campus spans the Carson Heights and University Heights communities of Indianapolis. UIndy’s international website includes joint programs with Ningbo Institute of Technology, Zhejiang University (China) and Zhejiang Yuexiu University of Foreign Studies (China), as well as articulation agreements with the University of Nicosia (Cyprus). Previous international sites include Galen University in Belize.

The colors of the university are dark red and gray. Its sports teams, known as the Greyhounds, are members of the NCAA Division II Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC).
